Why savers keep reserve logs beside their hardware wallets
When you hold Bitcoin or Ethereum in cold storage for decades, the device alone cannot tell your heirs which addresses belong to which retirement bucket. A reserve log records wallet labels, derivation paths, and allocation notes in plain language—on paper, in a binder, away from any network.
