Official business information

Registered business name: Workspace Alderfield Co., Ltd.

Established: 2019

Registered office: Office 9, 76 Sample-gil, Seo-gu, Daejeon 00000, South Korea

Our origin

Workspace Alderfield began in 2019 when founder Ji-yeon Park, a former bank records archivist, noticed a pattern among acquaintances in Daejeon: they held substantial cryptocurrency in cold storage but kept no readable paper record their families could follow. Devices sat in drawers; recovery phrases lived on scraps of paper with no context.

Ji-yeon adapted archival methods from institutional record-keeping—dated entries, cross-referenced indexes, plain-language labels—and applied them to personal offline wallet documentation. What started as informal help for friends became a dedicated practice serving conservative savers across South Korea.

What we do today

We are not an exchange, custodian, or investment adviser. Our work is documentation: helping you maintain reserve logs that describe what you hold, where it lives offline, and how a trusted person should proceed if you cannot act yourself.

Our team of four specialists has conducted more than six hundred sessions since opening. Every consultation happens without network access to client devices.

Working approach

  • Paper first: Your reserve log is the authoritative record, not any app or spreadsheet.
  • No device connection: We never ask you to plug hardware wallets into our computers.
  • Plain language: Entries use terms your heir can understand without blockchain expertise.
  • Privacy by design: We do not retain copies of seed phrases or private keys.

Values

We serve savers who treat cryptocurrency as a long-term reserve asset, not a trading position. Our clients include retirees, dual-income households planning generational transfer, and professionals who want their cold storage documented with the same care they give to property deeds.

Community

We participate in local financial literacy workshops in Daejeon and publish field notes on reserve log practices through our journal. We do not sponsor trading groups or promote speculative strategies.
